Terraseeding is a unique seeding method where seed is injected into composted organic soil and pneumatically installed as a layer on top of soil. It allows for an unlimited selection of seed mixes from turf grass to wildflower to slope stabilization mixes. Depending on existing soil quality and severity of slope, the depth of terraseeding can range from 1” to 4”. Additionally, for severe slopes that require erosion control, terraseeding can be combined with Microblend – a unique, one-step tackifier for soil and seed. This combination of soil, seed & Microblend is called Ecoblanket.
